How it Works-1.16.17
1) All devices are inspected for imperfections and mechanical defects
Our professional sellers are vetted and trained how to properly inspect (details found HERE) and document cosmetic flaws and mechanical defects.
2) All imperfections or defects (if any) are disclosed - including the IMEI status
Any device listed as "Like New" "Excellent" or "Good" is fully functional and is ready-to-activate (clean IMEI). If the device is in poor cosmetic condition, has any mechanical defect or the IMEI is not ready-to-active, the device must be listed as "NOT retail ready". The listing will describe cosmetic flaws and mechanical defects.
3) Dealers get more for trade-in devices. Repair shops buy phones for less
Simple Trade exists to help Verizon dealers sell trade-in devices for more and repair shops earn extra cash. Verizon dealers earn as much as 3X more for trade-ins vs. selling them to a wholesale trade-in company. Repair shops can buy retail-ready or repairable devices to be refurbished for resale, non-pay IMEI devices for international resale, and badly damaged devices for spare parts.
